DATES: Nov. 11-13, 2022 (Fri-Sun). We depart TC at 8am Fri. & arrive back Sun. 5pm.
HOTEL: Courtyard by Marriott Chicago Downtown Magnificent Mile. We are staying in the heart of downtown Chicago, just 1 block from the Mag Mile. This hotel is a Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence winner, but more importantly, it has a Starbucks. There are 2 queen beds and 1 bath in each room.
SHOW: Second City. We may book a private comedy show at Second City if we get a big enough group! If not, we will attend their just-as-lovable public show and make just as much of a scene upon entry. We may also go see a musical. This will be announced as the date gets closer!
PICKUPS: Pick up friends on our way south… TC, Cadillac & GR stops.
VAX: We will ask all attendees to have the current CDC vaccine recommendations.
COST: Quad: $449 each; Triple: $499 each; Double: $549 each. Includes 2 nights lodging, motorcoach transportation, 1 show ticket, transportation to and from the show, and… wine, prizes and a rolling party on the way down. (Spoiler: We nap, watch movies and wear fat pants on the way home.)

Bus 2: Amanda Skrzypchak from UpNorthLive
Amanda Skrzypchak – please don’t ask me how to spell her name, ever, at any point, on this trip – joined the UpNorthLive News team in October of 2020 as an evening anchor and reporter. She currently co-anchors UpNorthLive News at 5, 6 and 11pm. More importantly, she grew up outside of Chicago as a kid. She may be our key to all inside Chicago intel on this trip.When she isn’t gathering and delivering the news, Amanda loves to spend her time crocheting, practicing yoga, baking, taking hikes with her husband and dog or reading a book (that is, if her cat will allow her to turn pages). She is warm and funny and willing to shepherd this group of Michigan women through the Windy City. I’m worried some of you will give her something to report on.
Bus 3: Terri Ray from KLT The Rock Station
Terri Ray has been rocking the airwaves of KLT since 1984. She is also the Program Director, and, if you’ve heard her show, you know she loves to laugh and meet new people. Terri spends a lot of her time with her housemate, Jeff, and her pup, Sven, along with her 50+ fish. (She bought 4 fish a year ago. The lady at the store didn’t mention their mating habits.) Terri loves gardening, kayaking, tubing, biking, pickleball, game night, and swimming. And, not to brag, but Terri is the reigning Corn Hole Champion in the half block area of where she lives. Welcome to our hosts!!
